In this section you’ll find pet crates perfect for crate training a dog. Hard plastic pet crates are great for airline travel. Depending on your dog, sometimes a soft-cloth folding pet crate is appropriate.
The airlines have specific requirements for airline pet crates to keep your pet safe during transport. Don’t make the mistake of assuming any portable pet crate will be acceptable to the airlines. Our airline pet crates are portable pet crates marked as “airline pet crates” in the product descriptions.

When choosing a dog crate, make sure to pick the right size. A small pet crate can be convenient for a puppy, but when that puppy grows, you’ll want the space a large pet crate provides. The best rule is to plan ahead. Also, if your dog is extremely active or extremely large, a cloth pet crate or wicker pet crate may not be appropriate.
